Le premier des films Ghibli qu’il faut voir n’en est pas un, puisqu’antérieur d’un an à la création du studio, un an plus tard. Nausicaä de la Vallée du Vent reste toutefois régulièrement inclus dans l’œuvre du studio dont il est parfois considéré comme le premier vrai film.
